What to expect when visiting the Liberty County Courthouse

Entrances and Hours

The Liberty County Courthouse is open Monday - Friday and is accessible from the west ground-level entrance.  Note that although there are several other doors on the other sides of the building, these are all fire escapes and cannot be used as regular entrances.

The Courthouse is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Security

Upon entry, visitors must pass through a security checkpoint operated by the Liberty County District Attorney's Office.  This security checkpoint includes but is not limited to, an individual screening with a walk-through magnetometer and the screening of any additional items on an x-ray conveyor belt.
